thanks ... yes i use the grid method for an initial loose contour drawing af the entire image before i seriously dig into the work .. but do not rely on it indefinatley - the eyes are much better at seeing things that appear "true" - drawingsusually take a good while - 3 to 6 weeks cuz of all the layering i do - the locks took a little longer for obvious reasons !
